Qivana, Success Secrets Revealed During Live Interview

Success in Qivana is on every Qivana Independent Business Owners (IBOs) mind. I recently had the pleasure and privilege of  interviewing Diane Drawdy a fellow Qivana IBO. I have known Diane since I relocated to Florida in 1970 shortly after Hurricane Camille devastated my home town of Long Beach, Mississippi. We met when we were both employed by Sun Bank of Florida (formerly St. Lucie County Bank). Through the years we have kept in touch. I have watched her sons grow up. I visit her when I travel to Florida and she visits me when she comes to Mississippi with her husband Troy. Diane is responsible for introducing me to the Qivana opportunity.

My Qivana Success interview began when I asked Diane how she heard about Qivana. She related how her son Chris Steele told her about a new exciting company. His friend, Stephen Douglas, son of Marshall Douglas (once a high ranking Diamond in Amway), had confided in him that something BIG was about to happen. No one knew the name of the company or what the product was, or even who the CEO was going to be. But by all accounts it was going to be huge when the announcement was made.

This is the point where My Qivana Success story begins. I was visiting Diane in February of 2009 when she told me of this new venture that she had heard about. She didn’t know much and neither did her son Chris, but I have known and trusted Diane for over 30 years, so I put my doubts aside and waited for the announcement of the “company” name.  During the middle of February that announcement came. The name was QIVANA. This name was derived from Qi or Ch’i  (pronounced “chee” and henceforth spelled “chi”) is the Chinese word used to describe “the natural energy of the Universe..and Vana from Nirvana, the perfect peace of the state of mind.

Several days later we were introduced to the Qivana Dream Team. This is where the Qivana Success story really gets exciting.  The corporate officers read like a who’s who in network marketing and business.

Derek Hall, CEO, formerly CEO of McKesson Pharmaceutical Company. Derek also served as the President and CEO for Nature’s Way,  Botanticals International, Integrative Therapeutics, Unigen USA and Univera. In addition he served as Vice President and CEO of Econet, Inc.

Devin Glazier, Chief Financial Officer. Formerly Sr. Financial Analyst at Novell and Sr. Director of Finance at XanGo. Devin holds a BS. in accounting and a MBA from Utah State University.

Justin Banner, Chief Strategic Officer, formerly VP of Strategy and Development at XanGo with a B.S. in finance from Brigham Young University and an MBA in Strategy and Marketing from Purdue University.

Rodney James, Chief Sales Officer, formerly Director of Product Marketing at XanGo, Director of Marketing at VM Direct, and Director of Sales at NuSkin. Rodney holds a BS in Finance from the University of Utah.

Craig Johanson, Chief Marketing Officer, formerly VP of Marketing at XanGo and Senior Brand Manager at Tahitian Noni International. Craig holds a B.S. in Marketing from Boise State University and an MBA from Utah State University.

If  I had been excited before, I was really excited when I found out about these outstanding leaders.

In March I was fortunate enough to attend the pre-launch of Qivana in Atlanta Georgia and My Qivana Success dream became a reality. In all my years in business I have never meet such a dedicated and innovative corporate team. Every Qivana IBO and guest there was blown away by the product announcements, the company organization, and the compensation plan. I left Atlanta knowing that I had found a business with the leadership and products I had been searching for.

This September Qivana had it’s official launch in Orlando, Florida and Diane was able to attend. In the interview I asked her what her impression had been. She echoed my sentiments about the leadership and added  even though she had been in network marketing before, she had never felt such a sense of integrity in the corporate leaders and also in the business owners themselves. Qivana is truly based on people helping people achieve their dreams. This is why Diane and I have both been able to explode our downline. By the time the first products were shipped in April, my teams numbered over 50 people.
